The Pine Tree Festival Tennis Tournament took place at the East Georgia State College tennis courts Friday, April 29th through Sunday, May 1st. This year, the tournament was held in memory of Wesley Woods, who was the last tournament’s Men’s Singles Champion. Wesley lost his life to cancer in February of 2021. A Wesley Woods Sportsmanship Award was given to someone who portrayed the great qualities of Wesley on the court. This year’s recipient was Henry Hobbs.
