Ansley Frye, a Swainsboro Primary School student in Chawny Stewart’s class, has won the 2019 Pine Tree Festival Slogan Contest with her catchphrase, “Needles Are Green. Cones Are Brown. The Pine Tree Festival Is Fun All Around!”
Emma Taylor, a student at David Emanuel Academy, won the slogan contest for students in grades 5-8.
Abby English and Justin Drake, both students at Swainsboro High School, tied in the high school division of the slogan contest.
David Emanuel Academy student Temperance Blackmon won the 2019 Pine Tree Festival Poster Contest.
Twin City Elementary student Wessyn Willoughby won the poster contest for students in grades 5-8. His teacher is Dawn Boddiford.
